At Black Sheep, the safety and health of our members and employees is always our primary concern. As you are aware, Governor Pritzker mandated that all restaurants and bars to close for in house dining effective Monday, March 16th through the end of the March. This mandate is in response to outbreak of COVID-19 and private clubs are not exempt from the regulations the Governor has outlined. The Board remains committed to the safety of our membership and staff and has implemented the following procedures:
The Clubhouse will be closed and no food or drink will be served until further notice.
The golf course will remain open during this time. However guests will not be allowed and caddies will not be available during this time.
In addition to these modification to our operations, the Club has increased the frequency of hard-surface cleaning and disinfecting throughout the clubhouse and has hired a company to provide a detailed disinfectant deep clean to the whole facility which will be performed in the next 10 days.
While we are limiting exposure through these changes, it is important to maintain the recommended actions for social distancing and practice the prevention tips from the CDC. If you are immune deficient in any way or fearful for your own wellness as it relates to public settings, please stay home. If you, or a member of your family is sick, please stay home. If you, know that you have come in contact with someone who is sick, please stay home.
We will continuously review this situation and will forward on any new information via email regarding the status of Black Sheep. While we do not know what the weeks ahead will bring, please continue to take every precaution to stay healthy, and thank you for your patience.
